Domus Exsulis: A Lamia’s Bedchamber

On the third floor of Domus Exsulis, you enter what seems to be a bedroom, but is revealed to be a grotto, with a pool covered in mosaic, moss and mould. Coiled up within the murky green waters is a beautiful woman, half covered in serpentine scales. As you approach her, she sinuously transfigures herself into a snake with a human face.
